siqshit: Siq Shit x Email Of The Week …this week’s best-of-email that i received comes from someone that was asked to stay anonymous. apparently, he fell in love with homies ATLAS after finding out about them and downloading their EP through this ATLAS Facebook page. funny thing is, that ATLAS Facebook page was not made by any of the dudes in ATLAS; the dudes in ATLAS actually had no idea that page even existed. but nonetheless, the creator of that page had taken upon him/herself to credit him/herself for everything that is ATLAS (including the idea to change up the original song titles and create a way better cover for their EP [shown above]). and apparently he/she has made fans from creating the page. and apparently he/she just finished “Lester Young” 2 weekends ago. and apparently that Praxis party was so swagged out. so anyways, whoever you are, my homie, let me just say that you are crazy…and coincidentally, also amazingly awesome. god bless the internet. totally swagged out. totally.

Atlas x Praxis Launch Party

…the other day, i wrote about how ATLAS was asked to play a party for a new skateboard shoe company here in SF. Karl Watson is backing the whole thing, and he called up Diego to see if they would be interested in doing a set. so they say yes. and so the whole crew came out deep for the event. it’s tight to see Atlas play their shit live. (and if you don’t know what the hell i’m talking about, then you A: are fucking up, and B: need to go download their whole record for FREE). i had a good time with the homies. Atlas was definitely tight. the spot was cool. they had the free drinks happening. and Scotty P almost cut some fools. soooo yeah, can’t beat that for a Saturday night.
